《살랑, 머무는 시간 속에》

리나갤러리 서울에서는 8월 7일부터 8월 30일까지 김호은 작가의 개인전 《살랑, 머무는 시간 속에》를 개최한다.
이번 전시는 말보다 앞서는 감각의 순간, 언어 없이도 깊이 이어지는 관계의 기억을 조각, 회화, 영상이라는 다양한 매체를 통해 섬세하게 풀어낸다.
전시 제목 《살랑, 머무는 시간 속에》는 작가가 반려동물 ‘두은’과 함께한 시간 속에서 마주한 감정들, 언어가 닿지 않는 자리에서 특별할 것 없던 하루를 따뜻한 기억으로 바꿔준 존재에 대한 애정, 그리고 그 기억을 잊지 않으려는 조용한 시도를 의미한다. 김호은의 작업은 유한한 시간 속에서도 오롯이 남는 감각의 흔적을 따라가며, 관계의 의미를 다시금 되묻는다.
전시는 갤러리 외부 마당에 설치된 작품 〈햇살〉로 부터 시작된다. 내부 가장 안쪽 공간에서는 작가의 미디어 영상을 관람함과 동시에 전시장 바닥을 페이크 퍼(Fake Fur)로 가득 채워 마치 우리가 반려동물에게 안겨있는 듯한 느낌으로 , 관람자가 작가의 감각적 기억 공간으로 자연스럽게 진입할 수 있도록 연출하였다.
김호은 작가의 작업은 사적인 기억에서 출발하지만, 그것이 오롯이 개인의 이야기로 머무르기를 바라지 않는다. 작품을 마주하는 관람자 각자의 기억과 경험 속으로 확장되기를, 그리고 각자가 자신만의 관계, 추억, 감정과 조우하며 고유한 감각의 결을 발견하길 바란다.
유한한 시간을 살아가는 존재 간의 교감을 따라, 관람자 역시 자신의 기억과 감각 속으로 조용히 스며드는 시간을 경험할 수 있기를 기대한다.
Lina Gallery Seoul presents Kim Hoeun’s solo exhibition “Sallan, In the Time That Lingers”, running from August 7 to August 30.
This exhibition delicately unravels moments where sensation precedes language and memories of relationships that resonate deeply without words, through a variety of media including sculpture, painting, and video.
The exhibition title “Swaying, Within the Time That Lingers” reflects the emotions the artist encountered during her time with her companion animal, “Doo-eun.” It expresses a quiet attempt to remember the presence that turned an otherwise ordinary day into a warm memory — a presence found in spaces where language could not reach. Kim Hoeun’s work traces the subtle remnants of sensations that endure within finite time, continually questioning the meaning of connection.
The exhibition begins with the outdoor installation Sunlight located in the gallery’s courtyard. Inside, the innermost room features the artist’s media work, while the floor is fully covered in fake fur, creating the sensation of being embraced by a companion animal. This immersive setup invites the viewer into the artist’s sensory memory space in a natural and intimate way.
Though rooted in personal memory, Kim Hoeun’s work does not seek to remain a purely private narrative. Instead, it hopes to extend into the memories and experiences of each viewer — to evoke individual recollections, relationships, and emotions, and to reveal unique textures of feeling.
By following the traces of empathy between beings living within finite time, the exhibition offers visitors a quiet, immersive moment to gently slip into their own memories and sensations.

《Echoes of Summer : 여름의 메아리》

리나갤러리 부산에서는 8월 9일 토요일부터 9월 28일 일요일까지 민우기, 전희경, 정고요나 작가가 참여하는 전시 《Echoes of Summer : 여름의 메아리》를 개최한다.
이번 전시는 여름이라는 계절이 남긴 시각적 잔상과 감각의 파편들을 각 작가만의 회화적 언어로 해석하여 선보인다. 구체적인 풍경이나 상황을 재현하기보다, 여름이 남긴 인상과 정서적 여운, 그리고 색채의 흐름이 어떻게 시각예술로 전환될 수 있는지를 탐구하는 데 중점을 두었다.
세 작가의 작품에는 모두 ‘푸름’이라는 색채 스펙트럼을 따라 흐르는 다양한 청색 계열이 인상 깊게 드러난다. 맑은 청색부터 심연을 닮은 남청, 바다를 연상케 하는 에메랄드 빛까지, 여름의 감각을 환기시키는 다채로운 파랑이 캔버스 위를 흐른다.
민우기와 정고요나 작가는 인물 중심의 구상 회화를 통해 주변에서 마주치는 일상의 장면을 캔버스에 담아낸다. 이들의 회화는 여름이라는 시간성을 배경으로 인물의 신체성과 감정, 그리고 장소의 분위기를 구조적으로 구성하며, 찰나의 순간을 정지된 이미지로 포착한다. 전희경 작가는 추상적 시각 언어를 기반으로, 파도와 물의 흐름에서 비롯된 감각을 색과 형태의 진동으로 옮긴다. 구체적인 이미지 없이도 여름의 촉감과 에너지를 전달하며, 파도, 수면, 빛의 떨림 같은 자연의 리듬을 작가만의 붓질로 표현해낸다.
푸름의 결을 따라 구성된 이번 전시는 구상과 추상, 인물과 풍경, 정서와 구조 사이의 경계를 넘나들며, 회화라는 장르가 시간과 감각을 담아낼 수 있는 매체임을 다시금 환기시키고자 한다.
《Echoes of Summer: 여름의 메아리》 제목 속 ‘여름의 메아리’란 여름의 표면을 따라 흐르되, 그 아래 잠재된 감정과 일상의 기억을 들여다보는 시선을 의미한다. 이번 전시를 통해 각자의 ‘푸른 여름’을 마주하고, 그 안에서 떠오르는 감각의 결을 사유하며 천천히 바라보는 시간이 되기를 바란다.
Lina Gallery in Busan presents the exhibition 《Echoes of Summer: 여름의 메아리》, featuring artists Min Wooki, Jeon Heekyung, and Jung Goyona, running from August 9 to September 28.
This exhibition explores the visual afterimages and sensory fragments left by the season of summer, interpreted through each artist’s unique pictorial language. Rather than directly recreating specific landscapes or scenarios, the show focuses on how the impressions, emotional resonances, and flows of color that summer leaves behind can be translated into visual art.
A striking feature shared by all three artists’ works is their use of the color spectrum of blue—from clear, bright blues to deep navy hues reminiscent of the abyss, and even emerald tones evocative of the sea. These variations in blue ripple across the canvases, awakening the sensory memory of summer.
Min uki and Jung Goyona portray everyday moments through representational, figure-centered paintings. Set against the backdrop of summer, their works structurally compose the physicality and emotions of their subjects, as well as the atmosphere of places, capturing fleeting moments as still images. Jeon Heekyoung, on the other hand, works with an abstract visual language, transforming sensations inspired by waves and water currents into vibrations of color and form. Without relying on concrete imagery, her brushstrokes convey the tactile energy of summer—the rhythms of nature such as waves, water surfaces, and shimmering light.
Structured along the various textures of blue, this exhibition moves between figuration and abstraction, figures and landscapes, emotion and structure. It seeks to reaffirm painting as a medium capable of capturing both time and sensory experience.
The title, "Echoes of Summer," refers not just to the surface of the season, but also to the underlying emotions and memories of everyday life that resonate beneath it. Through this exhibition, viewers are invited to encounter their own “blue summer,” to reflect on the textures of sensation that emerge, and to take time to quietly observe and contemplate them.
