리나갤러리는 새로운 가능성을 지닌 작가를 발굴하고 동시대 미술의 다양한 흐름을 소개하고자 《2026 OPEN CALL: New Voices》를 개최한다.

이번 공모에는 강예원, 김미현, 설윤서, 송현주, 양현모, 임종연, 정덕현, 최윤선 총 8명의 작가가 선정되었으며, 가장 큰 특징은 이 여덟 작가가 가진 개성의 철저한 '다름'에 있다. 출발점도, 다루는 매체도, 각자의 관심사까지 모두 다른 이들의 작업은 하나의 카테고리로 묶이지 않은 채 전시장 안에서 자유롭게 공존한다. 때로는 조화롭게 이어지고, 때로는 신선한 충돌을 만들어내며 관객을 맞이한다.

이들의 작업은 지금 이 순간에도 끊임없이 확장되는 과정 중에 있다. 이번 공모전이 작가들이 묵묵히 다져온 자신만의 세계를 더 멀리 밀고 나갈 수 있는 단단한 디딤돌이 되기를 소망한다.

《2026 OPEN CALL: New Voices》는 단순히 작가를 발굴하는 공모전에 머무르지 않는다. 새로운 시선들이 관객과 처음 만나 소통하는 자리이자, 앞으로의 행보를 함께 응원하는 출발점이다. 전시장 곳곳에서 울려 퍼지는 여덟 작가의 고유한 목소리에 귀를 기울이며, 이들이 제안하는 새로운 감각을 편안하게 경험하는 시간이 되기를 바란다.

Lina Gallery presents 2026 OPEN CALL: New Voices, an exhibition dedicated to discovering artists with emerging potential and introducing the diverse landscapes of contemporary art.

This year, eight artists Gang Yewon, Kim Meehyun, Seol Yunseo, Song Hyunju, Yang Hyunmo, Lim Jongyeon, Jeong Deokhyeon, and Choi Yunseon have been selected through the open call. What distinguishes this exhibition is the remarkable individuality of each artist. Their points of departure, artistic languages, chosen media, and subjects of inquiry differ significantly, resisting any singular framework or categorization. Instead, their works coexist within the exhibition space as independent yet interconnected voices, creating moments of resonance as well as unexpected encounters.

The practices presented here are not fixed conclusions but ongoing processes of exploration and expansion. Each artist continues to shape and refine a distinct visual language, building a world uniquely their own. Through this exhibition, Lina Gallery hopes to provide a meaningful platform from which these emerging voices can take their next step forward with greater confidence and momentum.
